BIRATNAGAR: Chief Minister of the State-1, Sherdhan Rai laid foundation stones for the construction of two projects.
On the occasion of the 185th birth anniversary of Balaguru Shadananda, Chief Minister Rai on Sunday laid foundation stones for a drinking water project and a multi-purpose rest house (Dharmashala) to be constructed at Shadananda municipality at the cost of Rs 300 million.

The Chief Minister assured that the construction of the project would not be stalled due to budget deficit. “No need to get worried about construction from the budget aspect. The State government takes responsibility for managing the budget required for this”.

He, however, urged other sides to expedite the construction of the projects. The State government is ready to take up all the development works which the local governments could not deliver, he asserted.

On another note, he also said efforts were underway to design and construct a bridge at Lamsuwaghat linking Bhojpur and Sankhuwasabha.
