Gulf Exchange unveils website in Nepali language



DOHA: Gulf Exchange, an ISO 9001:2015-certified company, launched its Nepali website recently in celebration of the National Day of Nepal.

Jaafar Ali al-Sarraf, general manager of Gulf Exchange, Dr. Dev Kaji Dangol, chairman of SEWA Remit, representatives of Nepal banks and money transfer operators; and officials of Gulf Exchange celebrated the launch ceremony held at the company’s training academy in Sheehaniya.

During the event, ISO 9001:2015 certificates were also handed over to the respective branch managers.
The training academy, which was inaugurated on the day of the Nepali website launch, is the “first of its kind among exchange houses in Qatar”, the company has said in a statement.

All future training exercises of Gulf Exchange will take place at the academy, pertaining to orientation, anti-money laundering, soft skills, products, and professional development, etc.

On the occasion, al-Sarraf said Gulf Exchange was proud to launch the first website of its kind in the country and thanked the Nepali community, who have been using Gulf Exchange’s products and services since 1977, for their support and participation in the launch of the website.

He added that the launch of the website is a gesture of gratitude towards the Nepali community, spoken by more than 350,000 Nepalese in Qatar.

Dr. Dangol lauded the Gulf Exchange initiative to support the Nepali community by giving employment opportunities and conducting CSR initiatives and engagement activities in labor camps. More details are available online at www.gulfexchange.com.qa/ne.
