Another Chinese ATM hacker on the run arrested from TIA

KATHMANDU: A Chinese national involved in a hacking ATM system in Kathmandu has been arrested from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

Su Lusly, 36, was arrested from the TIA while he was about to board a China-bound plane on Sunday night, said SSP Uttam Raj Subedi of Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu. Subedi said they are searing the other two Chinese hackers who have been absconding.

Nepal Police on Sunday made public five Chinese hackers who were arrested for their involvement in hacking the ATM system in Kathmandu amid a press conference.

A team of Metropolitan Police Range led by DSP Habindra Bogati had arrested them on Saturday night and seized over Rs 12.60 million and over 10,000 USD from their possession.
