Deuba alleges govt of intervention in all sectors

LUMBINI: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba today said intervention on press, judiciary and human rights would not be acceptable at any cost.

Speaking at a press meet at Bhairahawa today, Deuba alleged the government for intervening in all sectors, including independent judiciary, freedom of the press, and human rights commission.

“This will not be acceptable at any cost,” he said. On the occasion, Deuba also asked the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) to carry out investigation on the wide-body and Baluwatar land scam.
