Deuba inspects cyclone-hit sites



KAPILVASTU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has flown to cyclone-hit Bara and Parsa districts to inspect damages caused by the freak storm.

Deuba, who stayed overnight in Lumbini after taking part in a party program in Kapilvastu yesterday, flew to the incident site in a helicopter on Tuesday.

He also visited Narayani Zonal Hospital, Birgunj to know the condition of the injured after inspecting the cyclone-battered sites.

Talking to journalists following his visit to the hospital, Deuba urged the government to send more doctors and health workers to the incident site to make rescue and relief operations more effective.
