Minister Pun warns of sacking those failing to meet work performance agreement



KATHMANDU: Minister for Energy, Water Resource and Irrigation Barshaman Pun has directed the subordinate authorities to work as per the work performance agreement.

Speaking at the quarterly review meeting of the fiscal year and meeting of the National Development Problem Solution Committee held at the ministry on Sunday, Minister Pun said that those failing to meet the agreement will be sacked.

“I have reached work performance agreement with the Prime Minister. Secretaries have signed a similar agreement with me and so on. Think about your responsibility if the work is not executed as per the agreement,” Minister Pun said the meeting.

Minister Pun also directed the concerned to work in the national pride and priority projects and facilitate the works in case of any obstruction.

Chief of Nepal Electricity Authority, Department of Electricity Development and Alternative Energy Promotion Board among others were present.
