DANG: Three persons died in a road accident at Chisapani of Gadhawa rural municipality-5 in Dang on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Ninu Pun, 11, daughter of Tika Pun; Sima Pariyar, 12, daughter of Kamal Pariyar; and Sunita Pun Magar, 12, daughter of Tikaram Pun of Gadawa-6, according to Police Spokesperson, Binod Bikram Shah.
The accident took place when a trolley of a tractor (Ra 1 Ta 2393) overturned as it was returning from a picnic.
Similarly, twenty-three people traveling in the tractor were injured. They have been receiving treatment at a health post of Gadhawa and Lamahi Hospital, said police.
Of them, four are in critical condition. They had gone for a picnic by raising money with bhailo program.
Police have arrested the tractor driver and impounded the vehicle.
