Jharkhand assembly elections from November 30



JHARKHAND: Elections in Jharkhand will be conducted in five phases from November 30.

The results for the elections will be declared on December 23, Indian media reports have said.

Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora today announced the dates for the elections. The voting will be held in 81 assembly seats in the state, reports said.

While the first phase of the elections will be held on November 30, the second phase will be held on December 7.

Likewise, the third and fourth phases of the elections will be held on December 12 and December 16 respectively. The fifth phase of the polls will be held on December 20, according to reports.

The current term of the Jharkhand assembly will end on January 5. (Agencies)
