Nepal and Australia sign air-service agreement

KATHMANDU: Nepal and Australia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to operate direct flight service.

With the agreement on air service at Montreal, Nepali aircraft will be allowed to take off passengers from different destinations of Australia.

With this, Australia has become the 40th international country for Nepal having MoU on flight service.

According to Suresh Acharya, Joint Secretary at Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Nepal and Australia signed the MoU at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) headquarters at Montreal on Tuesday.
