Man killed in elephant attack

SUNSARI: A man died when an elephant straying from the Koshitappu Wildlife Reserve attacked him at Koshi rural municipality in Sunsari district.

The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Anamol Mukhiya. He was fishing in a local river when the elephant attacked him, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Binod Sharma.

His two brothers, who were also fishing with him, survived the attack by fleeing.
