MAKWANPUR: Two people were killed in a truck-motorcycle collision at Basamadi in Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City in the district. The deceased have been identified as motorcycle-borne Saurav Subedi and Asmit Sunar.
Critically injured Subedi and Sunar, who were rushed to hospital, breathed their last in course of treatment on Wednesday night, said police.
The accident took place when a motorcycle, Na 38 Pa 5332, heading to Basamadi from Hetauda collided head-on with a truck, Na 6 Kha 1500, coming from the opposite direction at Basamadi along the East-west Highway.
