Nayab Subba illegally amasses over Rs 15 mln



KATHMANDU: Nayab Subba (non-gazetted first-class officer), who had served in attractive sectors including the Department of Immigration, is found to have amassed over Rs 15 million.

The Commission of Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has found that Nayab Subba of Area Administration Officer, Bardibas Lalit Kumar Jha has amassed over Rs 15 million, 6 hundred 79 thousand and 26.

The anti-graft body had initiated investigation into Jha when he working at the Department of Immigration of Tribhuvan International Airport..

Jha had joined the Public Service Commission on July 1, 1983. He has property worth Rs 38 million 5 hundre 43 thousand  2 hundred 34 since then. Of them, the anti-graft body has found only 22 million, 8 hundred 64 thousand, 2 hundred 8 earned legally.
