Gachchhadar hails workers’ contributions in people’s movements



PARSA: Nepali Congress Vice-President Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar on Wednesday said the overthrow of the Rana regime and the Panchayat system was possible with the support of workers’ movements.

Addressing a program in Birgunj, Gachchhadar said the people’s movements in different times were successful because of the contributions made by the workers.

On the occasion, he asked trade union leaders to move ahead on their agenda to ensure that the workers’ minimum salary reaches Rs 20,000 per month.
