Prez Bhandari calls for immediate treatment of survivors

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has drawn the attention of the authorities concerned towards making immediate arrangement for the treatment of the people injured by the windstorm in Bara and Parsa districts.

Issuing a statement here today, she expressed profound sorrow over the huge damage caused to human life and property, and extended heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family. She has wished for speedy recovery of those injured in the incident.

In a similar statement, Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun has expressed the confidence that the government would give special attention to rescue and treatment of the injured, and relief, rehabilitation to the survivors.
