COVID-19 death toll climbs to 37,460 in UK

KATHMANDU: The death toll in the United Kingdom (UK) from Coronavirus pandemic has reached 37,460 after 412 died in the last 24 hours.

According to Worldometer, the number of infection cases has surged to 267,240 after 2,013 new cases were reported. The condition of 1,559 is reported to be critical. No new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours.

UK has performed tests on 3,798,490 people so far.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 213 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 356,839 and infecting 5,781, 649 people as of Thursday morning.
