Tree crushes woman, child to death



MAKWANPUR: A woman and a child from Raksirang Rural Municipality in the district were killed after they were crushed by a tree collapsed with the storm that occurred this evening, said the District Police Office, Makwanpur.

Two others from Sarikhet were also injured in the storm caused accidents, according to Chairperson of Raksirang Rural Municipality, Raj Kumar Malla.

The dead ones were Birmaya Praja, 50, from Ward No 5, and six-year-old Ayush Magar from Ward No 3 of Raksirang Rural Municipality. Praja died on the spot, while Magar died on the way to Chitwan for treatment. RSS
