Public holiday on Eid rescheduled for Monday

KATHMANDU: The government has stated that the public holiday on the occasion of Eid on Sunday has been shifted to Monday.

The Home Ministry said in a statement on Saturday said that the holiday has been rescheduled for Monday.

The ministry said in a statement that the pre-determined holiday would now be on Monday as the Muslim community had decided to celebrate Eid on Monday as the moon will not be seen from all over Nepal and South Asia today.
