President Travel and Tours dupes US visa holder Nepali nationals 

US Embassy says those duped can seek legal remedy



KATHMANDU: It has been found that President Travel and Tours has duped US visa holder Nepali nationals leaving Nepal for the USA on a flight on Sunday.

According to sources, the travel agency has charged the fair double than as determined following an insufficient number of passengers for the flight and has refused to issue tickets to those denying to paying more.

It has been revealed that a dozen complaints of forgery have been registered with the police and Nepal Police Headquarters has started an investigation into the incident.

It has been found that complaints too have been filed at the US Embassy in Kathmandu.

Meanwhile, the US Embassy in Kathmandu has asked the people who have been duped to seek a legal remedy.

An officer at the Embassy said that the people can file a complaint with the police.

A total of 320 people are set to leave Nepal in the flight scheduled for tomorrow.
