Karnali’s first COVID-19 infected person feels huge relief after reaching hospital



DAILEKH: A 35-year-old man of Athbiskot Municipality from Dailekh was reached at COVID-19 Special hospital after five days of his positive result.

Before that, he was kept at a local quarantine established at Narayan Municiplity-8 in the district.

According to State Hospital Director Dr Dambar Khadka, the infected man is now under the doctors’ observation.

The person- first infected one in Karnali State- shared that he felt huge relief and hoped he would defeat the virus after reaching the hospital.

He said doctors’ behaviors and suggestions made him optimistic to fight against deadly corona virus.

He, however, said that he was panicked when he was kept at school’s quarantine where there were no facilities.

He was left alone at the school which is situated far from the settlement. But, when he was transferred to COVID-19 special hospital, he got good service and cooperation to fight against any pessimistic thoughts.
