KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast rain in various places in the country today due to the impact of Amphan cyclone.
Even though it is subsiding now, it is likely to cause rain in few places of the region and in the hilly regions of the central and western regions of the country. It is still existing but in the form of a low pressure.
Similarly, the rain coupled with gusty winds and lightning is expected to occur in some places tonight.
Amphan cyclone arising from the Bay of Bengal has wreaked havoc in the eastern region of India, Odisha and West Bengal killing at least 72 people.
