Rawabesin rural municipality sealed off to stem COVID-19 spread

KHOTANG: Rawabesin rural municipality has closed down the movement along the border points to stem the spread of the coronavirus.

The rural municipality took a decision to this effect after a youth was diagnosed with the coronavirus in Halesi Tuwachung municipality.

With the decision, all the people’s movements and vehicular movements have been banned until the lockdown remains effective.

All the entry points into the rural municipality have been blocked to stop the novel virus from spreading further, said Lila Nath Niraula, Chief of the Rawabesin rural municipality.
