One dies in electric trap meant for fishing

DHANGADHI: A youth of 21 years has died in an electric shock while fishing in the canal in Bhursa, Kailali on Tuesday.

Prakash Chaudhary 21, has died of the electric shock he meant to use for trapping fish in the canal in Janaki Rural Municipality 1, Bhursa, Kailali.

According to the District Police Office Kailali, Chaudhary who had become unconscious after the electric shock was rushed to Tikapur Hospital for further treatment.

DSP Dakshya Kumar Basnet of District Police Office Kailali told the media that the youth died in the hospital.

He informed that Hari Chaudhary 25, Niranjan Chaudhary 20, Dev Chaudhary 25 and Dipesh Chaudhary 22 who had gone for fishing with him are taken in custody to get further details about the incident.
