Swiss Company ‘agent’ Mishra seeks security sensing threat

KATHMANDU: Bijay Prakash Mishra, a Swiss Company local agent, has filed an application District Administration Office in Kathmandu seeking security to him and his family members.

Mishra demanded security upon sensing security threats from former communications minister Gokul Baskota, who stepped down from his post after coming under controversy while making a bargain of Rs 700 million with Mishra, an agent of a Swiss Company over the procurement of a security printing press.

An audio recording of the conversation between Baskota and Mishra was leaked.

Mishra, in the application, has claimed that lawmakers Surya Pathak, Prem Bahadur Ale and Bikal Paudel, Executive Director of the Security Printing Center are also involved with Baskota.

He has also claimed that he sensed security threat as two persons took pictures of his house at Tokha in Kathmandu last week.
