Narainapur rural municipality of Banke sealed indefinitely



KATHMANDU: Narainapur rural municipality of Banke district has been sealed indefinitely after it turned out to a ‘hotspot’ for coronavirus.

A person died while a total of 55 people have been infected with the novel virus in the rural municipality.

All the wards of the rural municipality have been sealed to stem the Coronavirus spread further, said District Administration Office, Banke.

“The rural municipality has been sealed until further notice after swab specimen reports of 55 people came out to be positive,” the rural municipality said in a press note.

A 25-year-old youth had died in quarantine due to Coronavirus on last Sunday.

A total of 47 people tested for Coronavirus on Monday alone. Earlier, the number of infection cases was eight.
