Newly-infected Rautahat men had entered Nepal from India on Tuesday

RAUTAHAT: It has been revealed that the newly-confirmed coronavirus infected men of Rautahat had returned from India on Tuesday.

The infected are from Ishnath and Rajpur municipalities of the district.

The police took them under control and sent them to the quarantine managed by Rajpur, Ishnath and Paroha municipalities while they were trying to enter Nepal secretly.

In a statement on Sunday morning, Joint Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari said that new cases have been reported in Rautahat district.

All of the newly-infected are men. Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in men aged 18, 32, 36, 39, 39, 42 and 48 years of Rajpur Municipality-9, Farhada.

Similarly, it has been confirmed that men aged 28, 30 and 33 years of Ishnath Municipality 3 and 5 of Rautahat have been infected.

Their swab samples were tested at the National Public Health Laboratory in Kathmandu.
