280 Nepalis stranded in Gujarat



KATHMANDU: As many as 280 Nepalis have been stranded in Gujarat, India for 45 days due to a lockdown by the Indian government to control the coronavirus.

They have been forced to sleep under the open sky in different parts of Gujarat.

The marooned Nepalis said they had sought help from the Nepali Embassy in Delhi and the Ministry of External Affairs for months for rescue but their plight has been unheard.
