All govt offices will not resume work from today: OPMCM

KATMANDU: The government has said that all the government offices will not open from Sunday.

According to the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM), only the government workers providing essential services through public corporations who had been attending the office would continue their works as usual.

There were reports that the government offices will resume their works from today.

According to Rajendra Kumar Poudel, spokesperson of the office, only the governmental offices related with a bank and financial institutions, insurance companies, cooperatives and securities would be partially resumed, in line with the decision of the Council of Ministers on May 6.
