SINDHULI: Pakistani nationals heading to Kathmandu via the BP Highway on a microbus have been returned to where they came from. Police have returned the Pakistani nationals who were on the way to Kathmandu from Sunsari via Sindhuli.
A microbus, Ba 4 Kha 5064, carrying the Pakistani national was allowed to head towards Kathmandu from Bhiman checkpost.
The microbus with vehicle pass was carrying the people, who were already in 16-day quarantine in Sunsari and had undergone PCR and tested negative for coronavirus.
Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police Force Gopi Bhattarai informed that the vehicle transporting 11 Pakistani nationals was permitted to enter Kathmandu in coordination with the Chief District Officer after finding and screening vehicle pass and other necessary documents.
The Pakistani nationals had left for Kathmandu on the way to repatriate to their home country.
Though the microbus was released from Sindhuli in coordination with CDO Yogendra Pandey, it was returned to Sunsari from Sunkoshi rural municipality along the BP Highway.
The District Police Office Sindhuli informed that the Pakistani nationals travelling to Kathmandu from Sunsari were returned to Sunsari through the same microbus.
