Woman dies in isolation in Chitwan, swab test soon

BHARATPUR: Chitwan Health Office is planning to execute the swab test of a woman who died during treatment in isolation.

Doctors are planning to send the swab of Uma Devi BK, 60, of Kharahani Municipality 12 to Kathmandu for PCR test.

According to Deepak Tiwari, the chief of District Public Health Office Chitwan, BK died Tuesday evening while undergoing treatment at an isolation in Chitwan.

He said that her swab is being sent to Kathmandu to see if the cause of death was coronavirus pandemic.

The dead of BK is in the mortuary of Bharatpur Hospital, Chitwan.

Earlier, the swab test result of Santosh Yadav, Birgunj who had died while undergoing treatment in Bharatpur Corona Special (Temporary) Hospital had come negative.
