27 Thai nationals taken back home



KATHMANDU: A total of 27 Thai nationals, who were stranded in Nepal after the lockdown order, flew home in an aircraft of Thai Air from Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) on Friday, according to the TIA.

Those Thai nationals were sent back home at the coordination of the Royal Thai Embassy in Kathmandu.

Likewise, Nepal’s private airlines Buddha Air made a chartered flight to Dhaka of Bangladesh. Buddha Air’s ATR aircraft flew to Dhaka by taking 16 Bangladeshi nationals on board and landed in Kathmandu today itself. This is the third chartered flight of Buddha Air to Dhaka.
