Regressive forces bent on pushing country towards instability: PM Oli

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has said that regressive forces are actively working to push the country towards instability.

In a welcome message delivered on the occasion of International Workers Day, Prime Minister Oli said the government will center its focus on producing skilled and healthy citizens and materialize social security.

“The government will first put its all-out efforts in the fight against Coronavirus pandemic and then will insure employment opportunities for daily wage workers and social security,” said PM.

Oli further said the government will bring into operation those industries that have been shut down and resume the disrupted production.

“The government will leave no stone unturned to ensure that no Nepali people will suffer from hunger in the famine likely to be caused by the Coronavirus as long as I remain as the prime minister,” said Oli.

Meanwhile, he has accused some media of pushing the country towards anarchism and instability by disseminating misleading and baseless information.

“It is sad to see fabricated news on social media and in print bent on twisting facts with an intension to push the country towards anarchism and instability even at a time when the country has been hit by Coronavirus pandemic,” said Oli.

Cadres of Nepal Communist Party and the people of Nepal will not tolerate it if the efforts are made to push the country towards regression and instability yet again by taking advantage of the current situation of the country, said Oli.
