Death toll climbs to 26, 771 in UK after 674 die in 24 hrs



KATHMANDU: The death toll in the United Kingdom (UK) has reached 26, 771 after 674 died in the last 24 hours as of Friday morning.  795 had died on Thursday.

According to Worldometer,  with 6, 032 new cases,  the number of infection cases has surged to 171, 253.

Currently, 144, 138 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1, 559 are critical.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 233,814 and infecting 3,303,850 people as of Friday morning.
