Coronvirus kills 7, 501, infects 47, 859 in Belgium



KATHMANDU: The death toll in Belgium has climbed to 7, 501 after 170 died in the last 24 hours.

With 525 new cases, the infection cases has reached 47, 859, according to worldometer.

Currently, 29, 075 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 797 are critical.

Meanwhile, 11, 283 have returned home after recovery.

Belgium is the sixth worst-hit country in terms of deaths from the Coronavirus pandemic in the world.  America has the highest death toll with 61, 656 followed by Italy (27, 682), UK (26, 097), Spain (24, 275), France (24, 087).

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 228,195 and infecting 3,219,246 people as of Thursday morning.
