EDV results to be published on June 6



KATHMANDU:  The United States Department of State has informed that the results of the Electronic Diversity Visa (EDV) lottery for the year 2021 has been postponed.

Earlier, the results of DV lottery had been scheduled for May 5.

The results of DV lottery has been postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic that has spread across the world killing and infecting thousands of people.

Application forms had had been opened in October last year from October 2 to November 5.

According to the Secretary of the United States of America, the results will come out on June 6.

However, despite delay in the DV results as scheduled, the interview of those selected will begin from October 1.
