COVID-19 PCR test begins at Rapti Academy of Health Sciences

KATHMANDU: The government of Nepal has added a new PCR laboratory at Rapti Academy of Health Sciences (RAHS).

With this addition, the total laboratories for testing coronavirus have reached 16.

National Public Health Laboratory, Teku, Shukraraj Tropical, and Infectious Hospital, Teku, Bir Hospital, Patan Hospital, Janakpur Provincial Hospital, Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences and Surkhet Provincial Hospital are performing COVID-19 tests.

Likewise, swab samples for COVID-19 can be tested at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhulikhel Hospital, Insect Disease Research, and Training Center, Hetauda, National Wheat Research Center Bhairahawa, BP Koirala Academy of Health Sciences, Dharan, Koshi Hospital, Biratnagar, Bharatpur COVID-19 Diagnostic Laboratory, Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj.
