Passengers coming from Biratnagar stopped at Nagdhunga



KATHMANDU: Police have tightened the security at Naghdunga checkpoint to stem the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The passengers have been stranded after the vehicles coming to Kathmandu from Biratnagar were stopped at Nagdhunga on Sunday morning.

Only 160 passengers were coming in seven vehicles from State 1.

Chief of Metropolitan Police Range Office, Kathmandu, Shyam Gyawali informed that they blocked the buses for the fear that Coronavirus might spread in the capital.

According to Gyawali, the passengers from Biratnager will not be allowed to enter Kathmandu and will be sent back to Biratnager itself.

Meanwhie, Biratnagar Metropolitan City has said that it sent 160 people in seven vehicles after carrying out their tests.
