BHAKTAPUR: Changunarayan Municipality has started carrying out a geological survey of the main towns and roads located in the unit by using a drone.
The geological survey began from ward no. 2 in a pilot project, Duwakot, said Som Prasad Mishra, Mayor of Changunarayan Municipality.
The survey and mapping of the area are underway amidst lockdown since the air-route of Tribhuvan International Airport lies above some its town and roads, added Mishra.
Drone survey and mapping will be carried out in all the local units in the Kathmandu Valley, according to Mishra.
