Spain registers 22, 157 deaths, 213, 024 infection cases



KATHMANDU: Spain has the second highest number of infection cases with 213, 024 after the United States of America (USA).

The country reported 4, 635 infection cases, 440 deaths in the last 24 hours. A total of 22, 157 have died due to the novel virus as of Friday morning.

Currently, 101,617 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 7,705 are critical.

Meanwhile, 89, 250 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 190, 496 and infecting 2,716, 320 people as of Friday morning.
