Coronavirus-infected 48-yr-old Gurung dies in London



LONDON: One more Nepali has died due to Coronavirus in the United Kingdom. The deceased has been identified as Bahadur Gurung. Gurung died on Wednesday.

Originally from Kaski district, Gurung, 48, had moved to Britain from Hong Kong.

According to Lekh Gurung, chairman of Tanahun Tamu Society, UK, Gurung succumbed to the novel virus while undergoing treatment at Northwick Park in London on Wednesday morning.

Gurung had been suffering from cardiac-related ailments and had undergone heart surgery few months ago.

He had been hospitalized  after he complained of respiratory problems few days ago and was being treated on a ventilator, according to Lekh Gurung.
