ILAM: Police have arrested Sandeep Limbu, 24, from Phakaphokathum Rural Municipality-7 of Ilam, for spreading a rumor about COVID-19 through social media.
He had written on Facebook stating that a corona-infected person found at Barbote of Ilam Municipality-7.
He wrote, “One corona infected person found in Ilam, now, no hope for living”.
He was arrested for sharing the fake post and creating disorder in the society, Hemanta Bhandari Chhetri, Information Officer at District Police Office Ilam said.
