I got a new lease of life, says Covid-19 victim Manchhiring Tamang

KATHMANDU: Manchhiring Tamang, who recently recovered from Coronavirus, has said he has got a new lease of life.

Chhiring, who have been staying in the United States of America (USA) for the last four years, suffered a bout of dry cough and headache on March 22.

Gradually he developed fever and pain throughout his body.

On March 26, he underwent screening for covid-19 but it took a long time for the result to come out. He self-isolated on March 27.

The test result came out to be positive for Coronavirus after 15 days. Headache and fever were wearing off gradually by the time.

It’s been 28 days since Chhiring caught Coronavirus. “I am feeling much better. I do not need to get admitted to hospital. But I am self-isolating,” Chhiring shares on his Facebook.

Originally from Dhading, Chhiring says that Coronavirus can be defeated through self-confidence, help and inspiration from families, relatives and friends.
