341 people test negative for coronavirus in Bhaktapur

BHAKTAPUR:  The report of 341 people who underwent Coronavirus tests in Bhaktapur has come to be negative.

The report of 16 among 457 people including foreign-returnees who underwent tests in Bhaktapur is yet to come out, said Medical Superintendent of the hospital Dr Sumitra Gautam informed.

Bhaktapur Hospital conducted RDT screenings on 49 foreign returnees. Their reports came out to be negative.

Meanwhile, the swab of eight Coronavirus suspects has been sent to National Public Health Laboratory, Teku.

Similarly, 50 volunteers have been deployed in each ward to effectively implement the lockdown, said Mayor Sunil Prajapati.

Meanwhile, Bhakatapur Municipality is creating awareness in their local language every day and urging them not to come out of their houses during the lockdown.
