Spain registers 18, 708 deaths, 177, 644 infection cases



KATHMANDU:  Spain has the second highest number of infection cases with 177, 644 after the United States of America (USA). According to Worldometer, 3, 584 people were infected and 453 died in a single day.

A total of 18, 708 people have died due to the novel virus as of Thursday morning.

Currently, 88, 083 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 7, 371 are critical. Meanwhile, 70, 853 have returned home after recovery.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 134,375 and infecting 2,077,839 people as of Thursday morning.
