PM Oli not to receive salary as long as COVID-19 remains in the country



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has said he will not receive his salary as long as the Covid-19 pandemic remains in the country.

Giving a message to the nation on the occasion of New Year 2077 BS today, Pm Oli said that he would deposit his in the government fund to control the outbreak in the country.

Prime Minister Oli further urged people to be united in in this difficult time. He also said that all people need to tolerate the loss together as the global crisis can be defeated with cooperation and partnership.

His contribution, PM Oli claimed, was the outcome of culture of the Nepali society of giving and contributing to the needy and the poor.

On the occasion, he also thanked other countries for their support in Nepal’s fights against COVID-19.
