183 back home from quarantine in Surkhet



SURKHET: The people who were quarantined at the local Khula Manch and tested negative in the Rapid Diagnostic Test for coronavirus have been sent home.

Their test was done after they completed the 19 days at the quarantine.

Accordingly, 183 of them were sent home on Saturday after their tests showed negative, said Captain at Nepal Army North-West regional headquarters Dayaram Dhakal. Five more are still awaiting their results.

The quarantine is managed by the Nepali Army in coordination with Karnali State Government.

The quarantine center had people from Surkhet, Dailekh, Kalikot, Jajarkot, Jumla and Accham. They had all returned from India after the outbreak of the coronavirus.
