9 Nepali ambassadors to contribute one month’s salary to COVID-19 fund



KATHMANDU: Nine Nepali ambassadors have announced contributing one month’s salary to the government fund for COVID-19.

Ambassadors will be donating the amount to the government’s Coronavirus Infection Prevention, Control and Treatment Fund.

Nepali envoys to the UAE, Israel, Egypt, Pakistan, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have made the announcement.

According to Nepali Ambassador to the UAE Krishna Prasad Dhakal, they decided to make the contribution to save the lives of Nepalis as the world is reeling under the COVID-19 pandemic.
