EPF to grant 10% concession on loan interest



KATHMANDU: Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has decided to grant 10% concession on the interest accrued in the loan taken by contributors.

The Board of Director (BoD) of the EPF took a decision to this effect on Friday.

According to the decision, the concession will to apply to the interest in the home loan, maintenance loan and simple loan due to be paid for four months from March 14 to July 15.

Similarly the BoD has decided to extend the installment deadline until August 16, informed Rajendra Kafle, Deputy Administrator of the EPF.

Meanwhile, the BoD has also decided to provide Rs 200,000 to the beneficiary of the regular contributor in case of their death from Coronavirus.
