Govt postpones Vitamin-A program

KATHMANDU: The government has postponed the scheduled event of administering Vitamin A capsules to children owing to the coronavirus crisis.

The Ministry of Health and Population said that the second phase of the National Vitamin A Program, scheduled for April 18 and 19, has been postponed until further notice.

According to the ministry, it has informed the concerned agencies as well as the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, offices of chief ministers about the postponement of the program.
