54 people quarantined in Ramechhap district



RAMECHHAP: Authorities in Ramechhap have quarantined some 54 persons who recently returned to the district from various countries.

The decision was made to protect locals of the district from coronavirus infection.

According to Jitendra Kumar Karna, chief of the District Health Office, while seven individuals have been quarantined in Gokulganga rural municipality, 10 have been quarantined at Doramba.

Likewise, 17 have been quarantined in Ramechhap municipality, six in Manthali municipality, four in Likhu Tamakoshi, and 10 in Khandadevi.

Karna informed that all the eight local governments in Ramechhap have set up isolation centers and quarantine sites.
