Four Nepali students in Australia test positive for coronavirus



SYDNEY: Four Nepali students in Australia have tested positive for coronavirus.

All the four students have tested positive, Nepali Embassy in Australia confirmed. According to the Embassy, all the victims are girls and they are staying in self-quarantine.

One among the four, who was infected with the virus some days ago, had shared the same room.  Two of them were diagnosed with the novel virus recently while the remaining one tested negative. Similarly, one student who is staying in Sydney also tested positive for the COVID-19. All victims have normal health conditions.

Likewise, one Nepali student diagnosed with the novel virus has returned home after recovery.

Nepal’s mission to Australia has urged all the Nepali students in Australia to maintain a high alert.

So far, 3,573 have been infected with coronavirus while 14 people have been killed by the virus in Australia.
